Happy to introduce ourselves!
We’re Claudia and Dirk. Over 30 years ago, we moved to the Rhineland and quickly grew to love it. Ratingen, the largest town in the Mettmann district, is perfectly located – close to Düsseldorf and a great starting point for exploring both the Rhine and Ruhr regions. We’ve been living in our cozy two-story home since 2005, and now that our daughters have started their own journeys, we’d love to share the extra space with our guests.

We’ll be glad to provide you with a bicycle to enjoy and recharge in the forest.

Some recommendations
MEET US
You’ll find us on the ground floor of the house, while your vacation apartment is on the first floor.
My home is also my workplace when I’m not travelling for business. I enjoy wandering through the nearby forests, going to the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus, swimming a few laps, or simply spending time with good friends in the garden.
MORLIN
Our Münsterländer-Labrador lady came to us as a little puppy and she can be quite energetic. She loves to run and be chased – and would love to hunt herself. At home she’s a cuddly and quiet companion.
I’m a native of Paderborn who came to the beautiful Rhineland for a design degree. I love being creative and making new things. In the Rhineland I’ve built a home where work, friends, and inspiration come together. When I’m not busy with projects, I enjoy spending time in nature, discovering cool new music at live gigs around here, or catching up with good friends over a tasty Altbier.
